Ephémère February 2013: No-Input Mixer Electronics

The February 2013 edition of Ephémère highlighted the technique of the no-input mixing board: routing an analog audio mixer's auxiliary sends directly back into its own input channels. By carefully manipulating gain staging, EQ frequency bands, and panning pots, performers coaxed organic sub-bass pulses and howling resonant overtones without any external audio instruments.
